Highlights from the night

From families who have run businesses for generations, entrepreneurs building something new, regional leaders and business owners creating jobs in their communities. We celebrated by bringing together people from across the state.

Among them were Darren and Rosanne Croker from Croker Oars, Justine and Michael McAlpine from Three Threes Condiments, Bill and Michael Cloros from Mongrel Boots, Shefali Pall from Alkalizer and Laura Prael from LEP Digital.

Different industries, different regions and different stories, but all part of the same business community.

We also recognised 10 recipients of the 2026 Service to the Region Awards.

Regional NSW is full of people who quietly get on with the job of making their communities better. The awards recognised leaders whose contribution reaches well beyond their own businesses.

Among the recipients was Lee O’Connor, whose decades of work in economic development, local journalism and regional advocacy have made a lasting contribution to Western NSW.

We were also joined by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC and NSW Premier Chris Minns. A big thank you to Westpac for helping make the evening possible.

Two hundred years gives us plenty to look back on. It was also a chance to celebrate the people and businesses that have been part of Business NSW, and to think about what comes next.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 200th anniversary such a special occasion, and to our members for continuing to support us.
