The Northern Rivers has again been hit by extreme weather event, as ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred continues to cause flood damage. Business NSW Northern Rivers Regional Director Jane Laverty has provided an update from what’s happening on the ground. “We are still experiencing a pretty challenging weather system that has us monitoring our rivers closely,” Ms Laverty said March 10. “We do have localised flooding and coastal erosion. We are now looking at the recovery.”
