About this Submission

This submission to the Senate Economics References Committee Inquiry into the Future of Australia’s Shipbuilding Industry is made in addition to a submission to Part I of the Inquiry. This document is consistent with a submission by Australian Business Defence Industry (ABDI) to the Defence White Paper (DWP) 2015. This consistency recognises that shipbuilding exists within the broader context of defence industry capability and is not a stand-alone consideration.
