About this Submission

The NSW Business Chamber (the Chamber) welcomes the opportunity to respond to the Reforming Australia’s Illegal Logging Regulations - Consultation Regulation Impact Statement (the RIS). At the outset the Chamber notes its support for the policy objective of reducing the harmful environmental, social and economic impacts of illegal logging by restricting the importation and sale of illegally logged timber products in Australia.
