About this Submission

This submission recommends against the introduction of a national gas reservation policy. Drawing on findings from Running on Empty, we point to alternative policy measures more likely to bring about improvements to the NSW gas supply picture. We also point to the long-term uncertainty about the future of the gas sector, which the reservation scheme would do nothing to address.
