About this Submission

Prior to determining what further action needs to be taken, the government should assess the standard currently met by the Biodiversity Offset Scheme. This scheme, established in 2016, was to provide a mechanism to avoid, minimise and offset the impacts of development and some types of clearing on biodiversity in New South Wales.
