About this Submission

The submission (in conjunction with the Council of Australian Business Industrial (ABI)) recommended the minimum wage increase of 2.5 per cent would be appropriate in the current economic environment, in addition to the 0.5 per cent Superannuation Guarantee increase due on 1 July 2025 (decision for an increase of 3.5 per cent passed on 3 June 2025).
