The NSW Tourism Awards are back and better than ever!

Now in its 33^rd year, this prestigious event celebrates the outstanding achievements of tourism operators across the state and this year inclusive tourism is a key focus area.

“We are delighted to announce that winners of the Accessible Tourism category in NSW will have an opportunity to enter the Australian Tourism Awards program. This is a positive step towards promoting tourism that is inclusive and accessible to everyone.” Executive Director NSW Tourism Industry Council Paula Martin said.

The 2023 NSW Tourism Awards will showcase the best of NSW tourism, highlighting the operators and businesses that have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and customer service.

“The NSW Tourism Awards are a testament to the resilience and creativity of the tourism industry and their ability to thrive and find new ways to connect with travellers and offer them unforgettable experiences.” Ms Martin said

“The awards celebrate the outstanding contributions the industry has made to the NSW visitor economy over the past 12 months and provide an opportunity to unite in celebration of their success. NSW Winners then go on to compete at the Australian Tourism Awards.” Ms Martin said.

The NSW Tourism Awards will host 27 business categories, 2 individual excellence categories, and the Judges' Tourism Star Awards to honour outstanding resilience and innovation.

Categories showcase a range of tourism services across the broader visitor economy, including tourist attractions, festivals and events, tourism restaurants & catering services, tourism retail & hire services, business event venues, new tourism business and accommodation.

Nominations for the 2023 NSW Tourism Awards are now open, and we encourage all tourism operators and businesses across the state to apply.

Winners of each category will be revealed at a gala ceremony 8 November 2023 in Sydney.
