As a valued Business NSW member, you are invited to join us on for an insightful webinar, Understanding the Right to Disconnect Laws. This session will explore one of the most significant changes introduced by the Closing Loopholes reforms.

As of 26 August 2024, employees now have the right to disengage from work communications outside their working hours, including calls, texts, and emails. Small businesses are required to implement the rule by August 2025. While employers can still contact staff in some cases, it must be deemed reasonable to avoid legal risks.

THIS WEBINAR WILL COVER KEY TOPICS:

✔   What the Right to Disconnect means for businesses and how to ensure compliance.

✔   Balancing operational needs with employee well-being to foster a healthy work-life balance.

✔   Fair Work Commission’s guidelines for modern awards and practical steps for updating workplace policies.
