The submission emphasised the critical role of qualifications and skills in ensuring businesses have the workers they need now and into the future. Themes addressed in the submission included the recognition of qualifications and skills across state and territory borders, the recognition of prior learning, and alignment with international standards in helping to ensure Australian workers remain competitive in a global context.
